Adventures of Traveling Light, Week Two: Ragged Mountain

Happy Wednesday everyone! My quick trip over to Ragged Mountain Running Shop today made me jealous that I couldn’t spend more time outdoors…If anyone wants to come over and take me for a quick jog that would be awesome. Or maybe just come back and tell me how it was…
I’ve never seen so many different kinds of running shoes in one place–this is a mecca for all you Charlottesville 
runners. I especially like that Ragged Mountain is a family-run store; everyone here is so friendly and I feel right at home. Watching Stella the puppy chase customers around should make for an interesting week. I want to give her a bellyrub but it’s–a–litttleee–toooo-far…Ugh. So close…

Yeah! My favorite lamp is in a great store. We love Cynthia and Mark. I am most excited about putting up the waterslide in our backyard and watching the kids have a blast… we have already had it up twice.

Now that it’s springtime, I’m looking forward to sampling some fine Virginia wines in the great outdoors at one of Cville’s local vineyards. Wine+sunshine (or the soft glow of a designer lamp)= one happy girl!

I ate there last night and loved that lamp at first site! L’etoile is my favorite resturant. I tried sweet breads for the first time, not too bad, really.
